FALL-ing in Love

Who else has noticed that the days are getting shorter (until daylight savings) and the air is getting cooler.
This is the first year I can actually say I'm excited for Fall! I think because cute jackets and boots are so trendy and fun right now.

Ahoy There Matey

My sister and I were born 4 years and 4 days apart so we have celebrated our birthdays together before so we decided to do it again this year!
She turned 26 and I turned 22!
My sister is also a chef and works at Little America in Salt Lake City, so on her birthday and on her day off we still recruited her to cook all the food for the party!
THANKS SID!

I came up with the idea of a anchor/nautical theme and wanted to change it up from the normal navy blue and red to navy and pink!
Here she is making the chicken salad

Here is our "HUGE" cake
My mom cut the anchors out of gum paste on the Cricut Cake

Ashley helped A LOT with all the decor and coordinating with everyone to make sure everything would get done and be perfect! THANKS Ash you are the BEST!!!

If you can tell Emery had pink anchors on her leg warmers! So Adorable!

Setting up the Par-Tay!

Birthday girls

All the cute signs were done by Ash

The Shasta's matched perfect with our theme

"Birthday Babe"

Chicken Salad Shots

All the food we had mini burgers, homemade macaroni, deviled eggs garnished with shrimp and dill and watermelon.

A Bridal Shower

My mom and I threw a bridal shower for a close friend and this is how it turned out!

We had the shower in our backyard

The cupcakes and the gum paste cut from the cricut cake

 Stacey The Bride To Be!
Don't you love the pennant banner "She Said Yes"

The party favors. Inside were pearl colored Sixlets.
My mom was able to cut everything at her work from the sign, to the banner and the party favor boxes.

The Food! And not all is shown here, there was a whole lot more.

Projects

My sister and I have already started on Halloween decorations.
We bought these pumpkins at the dollar store..

Before

 Before

And the after product.. glittered pumpkins!
We covered them in glue and sprinkled on the glitter then we sprayed a clear coat of spray paint over them to hold on the glitter a little better.
Then the next day we made another trip to the dollar store for more pumpkins because we bought purple and black glitter to cover some more with.

Before

 After
Both the before and after of the spiders are really cute.
But we decided to glitter the spiders also.

And glass etching (sorry not such a great photo) but they still turned out awesome!

I totally forgot about these photos I took them a couple of weeks ago. This is my best friends sister Lauren. I helped her out and took a couple picture for her since she didn't have a photographer.
These are taken at the Salem Pond.

These balloons are all of her colors they matched perfect!
