Picking Wes up from the Marines

The family and I drove to Twentynine Palms, CA. when we got there we met up with Wes then went to our hotel. We found a yummy place to eat that night called Pappy and Harriets.

The next day was our free day to explore where Wes has lived the last four years. He took us to some outlets and then we went into Palm Springs to eat for dinner.

Here we are packing Wes's room up. Such an exciting thing to do, I never thought the day would come when we would be doing this.

This was his tiny room, his room number and the building he lived in!

His friends threw him a goodbye BBQ the day we left for home, and that is Kota his roomate and good friend. The family became really close to Kota, He would come home with Wes all the time and became part of the family.

At the BBQ everyone went around saying something about Wes that was a good memory or something they had learned from him. It was really awesome to hear the things they had to say about him.

 Welcome home sign!!

The whole Jacobson Family and SO happy for him to be home for good!!
